This picture of *Wild Bill HICKOK, a Celluloid, is a unique photo as an early celluloid image about one inch in diameter. It is housed in a gold locket with Hickok's new bride on the opposite side. This likely belonged to her and was cherished when Hickok left to try his luck gold panning in South Dekota. It is believed to be his last photo, having cut his trademark long hair, the believed reason of his death is that he let his guard down by sitting with his back to the door.
